Little Feet Childcare Center of Carmel will be CLOSING today at 5PM.
Ms. Darline Roveto has successfully owned and operated Group Family Daycare within her homes for the past 15 years in both the Bronx and most recently Carmel.
Looking back over the years Little Feet has cared for over 200 children. Some of which are attending college and still stay in touch with us.
In 2012, we opened the doors to our Group Family Daycare in Carmel. Within 12 months we had been filled to license capacity
with a waiting list 6 months long.
After only one year there was only one decision to make, Expansion. We than had identified an undeveloped site which was perfect for what we visioned as the location of our Childcare Center.
In the Winter of 2013 we broke ground on what was to become our brand new 6,500 Sq. Ft. Facility overlooking Lake Glenida. We celebrated our Grand Opening 10 months later, in our hometown of Carmel NY.
And after only 5 months we our now expanding once again with our new
Little Feet Preschool and Kindergarten in March 2015.
After some research it turns out that the site in which we presently occupy was a Milk Farm in the 1890's. During excavation of the site Mr. Roveto unearthed the only remaining undamaged Milk Bottle preserved for over 100 years. That bottle sits in Ms. Darline's Office.
Now we feed infants, bottles of milk every day in this magnificent place. That's our story!!!
Shortly after the Grand Opening of Little Feet Childcare Center in Putnam County we had been approached by a Developer and asked if we would be interested in participating in a further expansion in Westchester County.
Several meetings later we decided to collaborate on
Little Feet Childcare Center of Katonah.
Darline Roveto, Director and Owner is a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
