CURRICULUM-
About our Program

 Creative Curriculum
Children learn best by doing.
Using the Creative Curriculum approach allows for the development of young children through active exploration of their environment, as it plays a critical role in learning. The Creative Curriculum supports your child's learning while teaching independence, and self confidence.  Using the Creative Curriculum approach boosts their enthusiasm for learning by allowing children to question, solve, and achieve solutions through important critical thinking skills

The Goals and Objectives of the Creative Curriculum are:

Social/Emotional Development- The goals are to allow children to express their feelings about themselves and the ability to relate to others in a positive way.
Physical Development- The goals are to support children’s gross and fine motor development
Cognitive Development- The goal is to allow children to create thinking skills, and problem-solving techniques
Language Development- The goal is to direct the children’s abilities to communicate through both written and spoken word.

In the Classroom setting
Our classrooms are set up for active learning throughout your child’s day at school. It is our responsibility to create an environment that invites children to observe, participate, experience and to make choices. The richer the environment, the more opportunities there are for children to learn.
Some of the centers and areas that are set up on a daily basis are:
Dramatic Play
Housekeeping
Blocks (Fine motor Skills)
Manipulatives (lacing and beading)
Tabletop activities (Puzzles)
Art/Sand/Water/Rice (Sensory tables)

Handwriting without Tears
